On our trip to AACC, we had an exciting day full of science and nature. One of the first things we saw were horseshoe crabs, ancient sea creatures with hard shells and lots of legs underneath. It was amazing to see them up close and learn how important they are, especially how their blue blood is used in medicine. We also got to look at bacteria under a microscope, which was really cool. Seeing all the tiny shapes and movements made us realize how much life is around us that we can’t normally see. One of the highlights of the trip was meeting March the snake. March was calm and smooth, and we learned all about how snakes move and live. It was fun to touch the snake and see it up close. The whole trip was a great mix of learning and hands-on discovery!
